Red Dot Design Award – design award, awarded by the "Design Center of North Rhine-Westphalia" from Essen. The works marked by the award are exhibited at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, which is by far the largest collection of modern design achievements in the world. The works are awarded in three categories: Product Design (industrial design) Communication Design (advertising, corporate design, interactive media) Concept Design (the best idea and concept). In August, the multimedia project "Earth 2050", launched by Kaspersky Lab, was named Best of the Best in the Online Platforms category in the Communication Design category. At the end of last week, winning works competed for the grand prix. The project from the creative agency Possible Group was recognized as the best in the nomination Online Platforms. "Earth 2050" is an open platform for discussing how the planet will look in the next 30 years. On a specially created website, Kaspersky Lab collected forecasts of social and technological changes, as well as cyber threats to the future. The team of the agency came up with the idea of ​​uniting futurists and artists on a single platform, and also developed a website design. Now it contains development scenarios for 80 cities and territories around the world, including Russian Tomsk, Dixon Port and the Vostochny Cosmodrome. In total, the project presents about 200 forecasts, which are divided into three time categories: 2030, 2040 and 2050. "We, indeed, increasingly become winners of various awards. But the uniqueness of the situation is that we usually get technological awards, for example, from the respected international laboratory AV-TEST. This time, we were awarded at the highest level for design, – said Andrey Lavrentiev, head of the technology development department of Kaspersky Lab.
